Full-room View
A 78-degree field of view and 180-degree video pan ensure that each member of the small group is seen in your meetings. You have far more freedom to move around the room, interact together, and show presentation materials than you would with the limited field of view of built-in computer webcams.

Versatile Voice & Video Control
With the included remote control and console buttons, you can instantly pan, tilt and zoom the camera to focus on the entire team, the meeting leader, or detailed close-ups of whiteboards, documents, design layouts, and product demonstrations. 43 of 43 people found the following review helpful Satisfied, This review is from: Logitech Conference Cam BCC950 (Personal Computers) I was trying to find an inexpensive webcam to use with skype in a business conference room setting. Our room is 12 feet wide, by 22 feet long. Most video conferencing solution cameras are much more expensive, so this one was inexpensive, all things considered. The microphone on the webcam is stated to work well for users 8 feet away, as well as the speaker. We found that users over 12 feet away could still hear, and be heard. Picture quality (so we’re told by users on the other end) is good. We’re very satisfied. 0 39 of 41 people found the following review helpful Best cam on the market, By Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This cam works great. Being able to use a remote is way better than only being able to use sofware that eats up valuable screen space like the Orbit AF. The speaker and mic are superb. The auto focus works much better than the Orbit AF. I removed one star because the software does not fully work with skype to is fullest. The cam is good but the software needs to be finished, it lacks all the controls needed. It is very easy to use but should be able to have more options to customize it if wanted. A suggestion. 0 24 of 25 people found the following review helpful Surely the best web cam for conferencing!, By Robbster (Ohio) – See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Logitech Conference Cam BCC950 (Personal Computers) Been waiting for a webcam that is designed for small group as well as individual conferencing, and this is it! Has several key features that are absolutely unique at this price point, and the quality of hardware, audio and video is top notch. Key points: + Pans, Tilts and (digitally) Zooms for easy adjustment of image during conference. Improvement areas/wish fors… * Charging port on camera should be standard USB mini or micro, NOT barrel type, so that other power sources could more easily be used to power the camera, e.g., an external battery or any of the millions of USB chargers folks have laying around. and in a moderately higher priced companion… * Optical zoom for full res image as one zooms in Overall, the best webcam for conferencing I’ve ever found, worth every penny when it comes to on-line collaboration. Highly recommended for small group or high quality personal conferencing. ***********Update 2013-01-23 Plug and Play for Win and Mac laptops********** The Conference Cam continues to work extremely well. Can now confirm simple, plug and play operation on range of both Windows and Mac laptops. I just leave this sitting out in our team room, and folks have no trouble connecting and using it for group conferences. The remote is not only intuitive, but kinda fun to play with as well! 0 |
