This is a review of the Lepower Multifunctional Inteligent LED Moving Light. I was provided a sample for evaluation.

Why this is called a “moving light” I have no idea. But whatever it is, I like it. This light stands about 6.5″ tall and is roughly 5″ in diameter.

You operate the light by touch controls that are on the base. Touch it to turn it on or off and then touch either of the other two button areas to brighten or dim the LED. The light has a memory that remembers the brightness you had it at when you last turned if off.

Another interesting feature is the retractable nylon strap on the bottom of the base. This enables you to hang the light. I can envision this hanging from our patio arbor in the summertime to let us enjoy extended light once the sun goes down.

This would be great as a kids room nightlight as well as a handy light for many different situations. I like it as just a cool accent light.

The internal 2200mAh battery lets this operate for up to 5 hours at the brightest setting or up to 50 hours at the lowest setting.

This is a very cool light. I like the design and functionality of it.

Among the reasons why I love it are it definitely illuminates with a warmer, more diffused light. It also is bright enough to read by, which is something many of my other portable lights cannot claim.) The controls are convenient and responsive, and, finally, it is aesthetically pleasing (to me, anyway.)

As a night light at a lower illumination setting you can easily navigate a large area. Mine is currently on an end table in my large living room, which extends to my family room and kitchen. On one of the lower settings I can safely find my way around the entire area or well over a thousand square feet. If I turn it up to maximum brightness it provides enough night illumination to use my laptop, rummage through my video and music collection and other tasks. If I place it close by I can easily use it as a reading light.

Another thing I love is it’s light and I can grab it and use it as a ‘lantern’ or take it out to a table on my patio.

Overall, if you want a versatile light that is not only bright enough for most tasks, but also a miser when it comes to consuming electricity, this is it. I am honestly considering getting a few more to replace the normal lamps in most of my rooms because of the low power consumption and the savings these will bring if I do go that route.
