The Skytech 3301 P remote control system was developed to provide a safe, reliable, and user-friendly remote control system for gas heating appliance. The system can be operated thermostatically or manually from the transmitter. This fireplace remote control is easily programmed to your custom settings. The system operates on radio frequencies (RF) within a 20′ range using non-directional signals. The system operates one of 1,048,576 security codes that are programmed into the transmitter at the factory; the remote receiver’s code must be matched to that of the transmitter prior to initial use.

Had an older model from this same company from 2001, it finally stopped working and replaced it with this model. Works just like the old model; has a few more features that allow for precise adjustments throughout the week. Installed this Sat 12-14-2013 on a new Harman P43 pellet stove. Remote appears to be defective. Will not advanced to next programmed time period during the day or evening. Have replaced batteries, reprogrammed it several times. Woke up this morning to find it showing the time of day as 8:44PM Sunday night not the 4AM Mon AM it really was. Have sent email to SkyTech requesting an advance replacement be sent, if they won’t I’m returning this. UPDATE 12-17 SkyTech’s reply to my email was “is the time of day set correctly?” So I’m returning this and going to get something else. Should have taken as a bad omen that when I got it the box the remote comes in was open inside the shipping box and all the pieces were just rattling around inside the shipping box. We have a gas log stove that is at least 10 years old and has only a manual on/off switch. If we were gone for the day our house was either too cold or too hot since it didn’t have an automatic thermostat. We found out about these about a month ago and decided to order this one to see if it would work on our stove. My husband had it operating in about 20 minutes and it is great!! Since our stove does have a built in blower we are keeping it on at about medium speed and so far it’s been a perfect set up. We are now hoping this product will last for some time, but for right now it is the best 0 we have spent in a long time! 0 |
