I ordered 20 of these. It’s a product I’ve been looking for – no electric cords but still the beauty of a candle in the windows. I opened the first box of 4. 2 out of the 4 didn’t work. They were so cheaply made that I was pretty sure they would not survive more than one season even if I could get enough of them to work. I sent them back to Amazon. Amazon is great to work with when a product is defective. They paid the return postage.

Low quality poorly made and designed Chinese junk. I bought two sets and one candle broke removing the bottom switch base to insert batteries. The ones that work perform okay, but be warned expect some to break. The problem is the switch base that must be removed to insert the batteries. It is very fragile brittle plastic and the tabs that hold it in the candle base break off easily. Once broken – no way it will work! The manufacturer ought to supply a couple extra of the switch bases as some are bound to break. I had the same problem with similar ones purchased several years ago. It would be nice to be able to buy the switch bases themselves as the rest of the candle since you do not have to do anything with it seems to be adequately made. Unfortunately, just like just about everything if we want something we are forced to buy Chinese made junk. It use to be japanese made junk – now it is the Chinese picking up the title!

I was looking for LED window candles with a white/yellow flame that did not flicker and had a timer that did not use a light sensor. This product almost suits my needs. The flame is a little dim and just a tad too blue for my taste. They are not bad, just not perfect. I have quite a few windows so I had to order a lot of these. Since they are not exactly what I wanted these will be going back to Amazon. The search continues.
