This set includes 50 G40 5 watt CLEAR light bulbs with a 50 foot C7 base BLACK cord. Sockets are spaced every 12 inches. Our Unique G40, 5 Watt C7 (E12) base light bulbs are 1.6″ tall by 1.6″ wide not including the base which is 3/8″ wide. Average bulb life is 3000 hours. Nickel base. Manufactured with 18 gauge wire and rated for up to 959 total watts. Connect Up to 3 sets end-to-end! – 150′ total length. If one bulb burns out the rest stay lit. For indoor and outdoor use. I was torn about buying solar powered lights instead of these, but none of the solar powered lights seemed to offer a warm colored light bulb. The warm color of these bulbs make a truly cozy atmosphere. Other reviewers mentioned that the bulbs were fragile so we took their advice and strung the lines first, and then attached all of the bulbs after.
