Its either driver problems, poor software or non-support of your equipment. All the cam's suffered from poor video quality (choppy an low resolution). I assume if you want a good cam you will have to pay about 0-0. Here we are in 2011 and I have yet to see a reasonably priced good cam. The software included with this is terrible on Windows 7. It allows you no way we could find of just having a video picture on your screen with out the large window. Because of the stiff cable it will put serious stress on your usb port. I would run this with a usb extender cable to alleviate stress to your usb.
