No surprises with this product, here are some points: – This product looks just the image, sort of a old brass finish that doesn’t attract attention to itself and should look fine in most applications. – It is flexible, so it can help avoid injuries and facilitate cleaning/vacuuming under and around it. – There are three parts in the package: a screw, a round base, and the spring/doorstop piece. – Very easy installation with a drill and a Phillips-head screwdriver: (1) Drill a pilot hole in the wall/baseboard using a 7/64" drill bit. (2) Install the base using the included screw. (3) Attach the main piece by turning the spring clockwise on to the base.
