I was replacing the Honey Do ironing board I bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond that some sellers sell on Amazon. This board was just a little more expensive and is WAY better quality (actually this seller sold it for a lower price than any others sell the lower quality board for). The mechanism is all metal, just like standard ironing boards.
