My plan was to modify it to hang on a wall without the door brackets, using the mounting holes on the top bar. It worked perfectly.

I was replacing the Honey Do ironing board I bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond that some sellers sell on Amazon. This board was just a little more expensive and is WAY better quality (actually this seller sold it for a lower price than any others sell the lower quality board for). The mechanism is all metal, just like standard ironing boards. The old one I had, had plastic pieces that held it in place and that’s what broke after a couple of years I’m guessing this one I will never have to replace, it is built that well.

The board was very bouncy and unstable when lowered to horizontal position. Also, when folded up, the bottom banged against the door when the was opened and closed. Wanted to love this board as it would have been a great space saver, but no.
