It is very well made, easy to install and can be undermounted. We use it in our laundry room and it will easily support a full load of shirts and pants from the dryer. The hooks don’t look cheap or flimsy and the wood likes nice from a foot away. If you looked at it really closely you can tell that the wood is really particle board covered by veneer. The two screws supplied to attach to the wall are pretty much junk. There are no anchors to place into the drywall to secure them properly. I happened to place it so one of the screws hit a stud, but the other didn’t and would shift slightly until I stuck a plastic anchor into the drywall and then put the screw into the anchor…problem solved. When it arrived, I unwrapped it and found a fairly sizable chip (maybe 1-2 cm) in the paint on one of the edges. I know I probably could have returned it, but the chip was in a place where it wasn’t really going to show, so I just colored it in with a black sharpie and it looks fine. Also, all four of the hooks were rather wobbly when it arrived, so I got out a screwdriver and tightened down all of them from the back and now they’re perfectly solid and sturdy. Installation was super easy and it has been holding up just fine to the weight of all our winter coats and such. In all, it’s a nice coat rack. I just found it odd that i had to tighten down all the hooks (like they made a nice product, but didn’t quite finish it) and was obviously a bit disappointed with the chipped paint. But, it’s sturdy now, the chip doesn’t show, and I like the look of it — so overall, it’s a decent product. 0 |
