This review is from: Deltana FDB278U15 Solid Brass 2 1/8-Inch Floor Door Bumper (Tools & Home Improvement) We needed a doorstop that was taller than most, and this fit the bill perfectly. Hubby had to coerce it during installation, called it moderately easy to install. Overall, we are happy with the end result. Sturdy with nice appearance. 0 ![]() Easy to install and great for doors with a lot of bottom clearance., By Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Deltana FDB278U15 Solid Brass 2 1/8-Inch Floor Door Bumper (Tools & Home Improvement) I’m really happy with this compared to a waste of money I underwent at the local big box store. I needed the extra height this has, but the mounting mechanism on this made it so much easier to mount than the first type I bought. I was putting it in a wood floor so I drilled one large pilot hole, screwed it in, verified alignment, and then screwed the stabilizer screw in the back to keep it in alignment permanently. Doesn’t get much easier than that. 0 ![]() Very solid but pricey. I mounted to concrete floor …, Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Deltana FDB278CR003 Solid Brass 2 1/8-Inch Floor Door Bumper (Tools & Home Improvement) Very solid but pricey. I mounted to concrete floor in my garage. I wish the instructions had listed the size drill bit that was needed. I ended up using the same size bit as the anchor but "wallered " it out, because the next size rotary hammer bit looked too big. I also used a tapcon on the secondary anchor (screw hole) just for extra security. So this thing will stop a 400lb man that’s falling towards a cheeseburger. 0 |
