Great if 65 or 70 degrees is what you desire. Somewhat restrictive thermostat., December 2, 2013

It only takes a couple minutes to reach full temp and provides a nice steady and silent heat. I’d love it if it weren’t for one disappointment: The digital thermostat only adjusts in increments of 5 degrees starting at 65 and going to 80. That’s rather restrictive, and 5 degree increments are big jumps. I’m shocked that it doesn’t even have 60, which I think is common for night time while sleeping. In addition, 65 is not low enough for times when I’ve simply wanted to use it to prevent freezing pipes in an unused area, 65 wastes too much energy.

Buyer Beware, November 7, 2013
This review is from: Honeywell Digital Oil Filled Radiator Whole Room Heater (Misc.)
This heater worked very well and gave off a great deal of heat when it worked. I owned it for a week and used it only occasionally in the evening. It suddenly stopped working for no reason. I read the manual and tried to trouble shoot the problem to no avail. I read other reviews online about this model and read that some other people have had similar problems with this model.

A potential power problem…solved!, April 27, 2014
This review is from: Honeywell Digital Oil Filled Radiator Whole Room Heater (Misc.)
Hopefully, some of the reviewers who had similar power problems will be able to make this solution work for them as well….

I purchased two of these heaters (but, sorry, not from Amazon) and have used them daily for the past two winters. Two nights ago I went to move one of the heaters, accidently bumped a door sill and it stopped working–the power went off.

I looked for a reset button but didn’t find one.

So I tried an old trick that used to work with TVs and VCRs — I unplugged the unit, waited about thirty seconds, and plugged it back in. The power still wouldn’t come on.

So I tried the other trick: I held down the power button for about fifteen seconds and whattaya know — the power came back on and all the controls worked as before.

If your heater stops working, then, try unplugging the wall cord for 30 seconds, then pug-in and hold the power button down for about 15 seconds. Maybe you’ll get the same result! Good luck!!
