I think the price is very low because of the color, but I love it. The kettle works GREAT. At half full (~3 cups) it boiled the water in 2 minutes. The kettle is plastic so if you don’t want that then this isn’t for you. I did wipe the inside water measuring area after using it, because some condensation remained and I didn’t want any hard water build up to cause issues later on with reading water measurements. The cord winds up under the heating pad, and can be hidden away when not in use. The on/off button turns off quickly upon water boiling, so I know the auto shutoff is working. The way it lights up blue when in use and the water is hot is a really great feature. I purchased the kettle for my husband who does most of the cooking in our home.
