I weighed it out with some nickels 3 different nickels and it showed 4.99, 5.00 and 5.00. Not a single complaint about it really, the only thing i would say is the case cover can fall off easily but i just put a rubber band aroudn it and completly solved that problem 🙂 haha saving you guys time for a bunch of research, buy with confidence, im not a easy sale, but this scale got me ;). I never write reviews, but ive realized how helpful they’ve been to me, so time to spread the love. Enjoy! After researching all scales, I decided on this one and was extremely happy with it! It weighs a lot and is a portable size, iPhone sized w/ lid on. It has also consistently given accurate scale readings around +/- 0.02 g. Only con: lid doesn’t close tightly and will be easy to lose. Needed for protection because things will get stuck in the cracks. Even with the con, it’s definitely worth it. Otherwise, I’d recommend the one with the lid attached, but I thought it looked so much worse than this one to justify buying this scale.
