These strips output slightly blue light, not perfect white but otherwise perform very well. The adhesive is 3M and very sticky and the contacts solder well (After being carefully exposed by using a razor blade to remove the clear silicone waterproofing). I used 2 beside one another as under cabinet lighting in my kitchen and it looks great. Be warned that several basic skills (wiring, soldering, etc.) and several other parts (transformer, wire) are required to make this work.

I used these lights in an electronics project where I needed small sections of lights. They are designed to be cut every 3 lights or 2 inches and have 2 small copper pads exposed every 2 inches. If you cut them, you have to carefully remove the clear rubbery coating from the two copper pads (I used a knife, my kids used their fingernails) and then solder wires to the copper pads. No big deal for a hobbyist, but I saw confusion from other buyers about how to light them if you cut them. The reel I got had excellent quality with no flaws or bad LED’s. The lights are moderately bright, but I could have used brighter for the particular project I was doing.

i purchased this to install inside my enclosed trailer (i use for hauling my motorcycles to/from the track). it was super easy to install, just unroll, peel the backing, attach to your mounting section and hook up the power supply. super cheap for the type of lighting you get from this little LED strip.

my trailer has the metal frame exposed on the corners and the LED fits perfectly there, its out of the way and provides just the right place for lighting. after installing it i noticed that several days later the adhesive on the back was not peeling off so i got some Gorilla glue and bam, works like a charm and i doubt it will ever fall of.

it did come directly from China via post so it took so time getting here. if you purchase this make sure you get the LED power supply and LED PCB connectors for a super easy installation (its the suggested items when you’re about to check out).

i would definitely recommend since its a super easy installation, cheap price, no heating issues since its LED. when attaching to the power supply i would recommend you solder the connection rather than using a crimping cap or electrical tape.
