IT WILL NOT LAST LONG ENOUGH TO DO YOU ANY GOOD. JUNK JUNK JUNK ! ! ! This would be a great little timer if it was well constructed, but it isn't. I bought two of these and installed them in early March of 2013. They worked perfectly until a crucial little part in BOTH OF THEM broke and rendered them useless. There is a little internal plastic trigger (that can NOT be easily replaced or repaired by the consumer), that allows the timer to turn off and on as set by the owner. After a few months, the tiny part obviously just wears out from the stress of use and breaks. If only the little trigger were made of metal then I suspect this little timer might last indefinitely. Of course they did last long enough to get past the Amazon return policy window, and I'm apparently just stuck with the unworkable junk, and my money down the drain for nothing. *An Important Note ~ I am a long time Amazon customer who has purchased many different items over the past few years, and this is the very first NEGATIVE review that I have ever posted. 0 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful  Difficult installation, Verified Purchase(What's this?) However, the shaft that contains the gear which drives the rotator is about 1/8th of an inch to short for a standard switch.
