After purchasing other styles of Liberty hook racks, I expected a good experience from this and was not disappointed. This unit looks nice and is well made. If you need to match up with some brushed or satin steel finishes, this is a good choice.

Note that the hooks are not movable on the hook rail. The hooks are medium/large and suitable for coats, robes, towels, hats, kitchen utensils, pots & pans etc. The hooks have a 1 1/4″ (1.25″) gape and the center of the hook gape (bottom of hook radius) will standoff 2 & 3/8″ from the wall it is mounted to (2.375″). The hooks have a ball end which is 1/2″ (.5″) diameter – so any kitchen utensil you want to hang must have an opening at least 1/2″.

This hook rack is designed to be mounted via screws going directly into hardwood, like the wall studs behind your drywall, on 16″ centers: i.e. the mounting holes are spaced 16″ apart. There are four, 1″ long brushed finish wood screws and instructions taped inside one end of the package, but be sure to open BOTH ENDS of the box to find the screws, or you have a 50/50 chance of missing them like the other reviewer. Since this hook rack is designed to be mounted directly to wall studs or hardwood, it is rated for 35lbs. There are NOT any drywall anchors or other drywall mounting system included.

I don’t think this is a good candidate for drywall anchors or toggles, because this model requires two screws to be spaced only 1.25″ apart in a stack, on each side. Putting two drywall anchors so close to each other would compromise the drywall and ditto for drilling clearance holes for toggles. So BEFORE YOU ORDER, be sure to use a stud finder and be sure your studs are located in an agreeable spot for this to be mounted, if you are mounting to drywall.

Nice looking and very sturdy for a small rack. My husband has 2 in his closet and uses them to hang miscellaneous items.

I have this in the bathroom instead of a towel bar. It looks good and allows towels to dry. There are towel bars on the shower doors
