Bulbs & Fittings Ideas

This film makes my windows actually look like stained glass....and I don't mean some 'cheapie' looking junk, either. The house we bought has a big window right at the front door, looking out at the small front porch, plus, there are sidelight windows on either side of the door! The previous owner had white curtains hanging all over them, but I prefer either toppers or no curtains--I want the light to come in! But, I don't want someone to walk up to the door and peer right into the house, either. Had the same problem in the master bath--if you stand on the upper back deck, you can see right into the bathroom. I actually ordered this thinking I would use this until I decided just what I was going to do permanently. Lo and behold, I was amazed at how great it looks! People have actually commented to me about the stained glass windows, LOL! When the sun shines through the bathroom window, the reflection on the walls is stunning! The colors are very soft--greens/blue/gold/maybe a pale peach tone--it seems to reflect the outside colors, as well. I can imagine it would go with most any 'neutral' decor. Certainly not 'black & red' or some other harsh theme, but very versatile. This has certainly 'fit the bill' for me--at least for now. The really great this is, it will peel right off if I decided to do something different. Highly recommend!

This product is absolutely amazing. I just bought a new home and the master bedroom has an exterior door to the patio with a glass inset. I wanted light, but I wanted privacy. This provides total privacy and lots of light. At night, when all the lights are out, the street light outdoors makes tiny slivers of light gleam through and look like a Christmas tree. It's absolutely beautiful. I love the way it looks! It was easy to install. We didn't use water when installing, but I did clean the window prior to installing it. It easily clings to the window. We installed it on the interior side of the window with the film edges hanging over all the way around the window, then used a razor to cut to a perfect fit. Took us maybe 20 minutes total to install it. I highly recommend it!

I bought it to place in 2 small windows in my great room to reduce the glare on my TV. It does not do that. The pic also shows a green/gold hue. Those colors also do not come through. I will be replacing it with black magic instance cling 5%. It is pretty but not for what I wanted it for.
