Product Description

The Air Purifier treats the air in your home or office by breaking down odor causing pollutants and dropping airborne particulate from your breathing space. The Air Purifier produces ozone and negatively charged ions, the same effective cleansing agents that natures uses to treat outdoor air. The process includes: 1) The Air Purifier uses a needlepoint ionizer to drop dust, smoke and other harmful particles from the air we breathe. In our homes and offices there is a lack of negative ions and an abundance of positive ions. The buildings we spend most of our time in block out the natural occurring negative ions. The Air Purifier recreates the natural balance of positive to negative ions to significantly reduce airborne particulate and 2) The Air Purifier uses electricity to split oxygen O2 molecules into single o1 atoms, which attach loosely to other O2 molecules to become O3 (activated oxygen). This loosely attached oxygen atom is unstable and seeks to bond with chemical compounds and other odor causing pollutants in order to oxidize them. The Air Purifier should be placed in the room where you have the most pollutants. An elevated location is better to distribute ions and activated oxygen more evenly. Air Purifier works best if it is placed within 10 feet of a cold air return. Some customers prefer to have more than one unit to better control levels of activated oxygen in the home. 3) With ultraviolet light to destroy microorganisms such as bacterial, mold and viruses and remove bad smells in the air. 4) HEPA filter can capture particles below 0.3 microscopic particles such as radioactive dust in atomic plants. HEPA filter is a mainstay in areas that require clean air such as hospitals, clean rooms, and high-tech manufacturing plants. Commonly Asked Questions Q. What does the Air Purifier do? A. It treats the air in your home or office by breaking down odor causing pollutants and dropping airborne particulate from your breathing space

Excellent Air purifier!, September 24, 2014

This has exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. The adjustable ozone and fan speed are excellent. So glad I didn’t buy one without that. You can turn the the UV plate on or off. I’m still a bit confused about the exact amount of ozone per hour that it produces, but I know on the highest setting, you shouldn’t be in the room….very strong ozone output! I finally found precaution in a statement about the auto “away” function to that effect in the manual. There should probably be some more precaution in the manual about not being in the room at the highest setting. The lowest setting is really nice with just a small amount of ozone….just makes the air fresh. Perfect for my basement workshop prone to mold and mildew. And you can turn the ozone off and still have the fan on with the hepa filtration and I assume the ionizer too. It is a larger box than I was expecting. Check the dimensions if space is a consideration. The remote control is a nice feature.

This is my initial review. I just received the purifier today. After several days of use, I will update my review.

The first thing I was interested to know is how loud the purifier is. I read several reviews that stated "it’s as loud as a vacuum cleaner." Unless your vacuum cleaner is silent, this is simply not so. While you can hear it, you would have to be living in a monastery to think it’s loud. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m sitting right next to it, and I can hear my TV and all other sounds just fine. I also have all levels maxed out. In fact, it is more quiet than the other purifier I have that purifies a much smaller area.

Setup involved plugging it in. I pulled the tab out of the remote to enable the batteries. That’s it.

My next test is to see if it reduces the amount of dust in my bedroom and kitchen. I access my home from the back door. My kitchen and bedroom are right by the back door that allows a lot of dust in those rooms. More to come.

Happy with purchase. Very little noise when on low. We are smokers and wanted to get rid of smell. Seems to do that just fine. The cord plugs into the back of the unit snugly, at first it turned off everytime I moved it then realized the cord was not pushed in all the way
