Cutest candle warmer on the market. I bought them as Christmas presents last year. I got this tip from another reviewer and did an Amazon search for a cheaper replacement bulb when my mom’s bulb burned out after over 1 year of daily use — GU10 120v 20w halogen light bulb. (They are 20w rather than the 25w that came with the candle warmer, but they have the same type base that fits into the warmer just fine.) Found a deal for a 6 pack of bulbs for about plus shipping. I kept reading bad reviews about the bulbs not lasting. I’ve had no problems with my bulb, but now I have a cheaper solution when mine burns out.

I’m a scented candle lover and have been looking for a candle warmer that is big enough to accommodate the 14.5 *ounce* three-wick candles from Bath and Body Works (note: B&BW imports some of their candles from the White Barn candle company, if that matters). I tried one of the plug-in bottom-up warmers that look coffee mug-sized warmers and they work only for very small candles. I gave the little coffee warmer to my son and decided to invest in the Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp. It arrived promptly and was super easy to set up; I bought the pewter, which could also easily pass for a brushed nickel. The scents the warmer produces are just right — not too overbearing, but still strong enough fill a good portion of the home (our house is only 1600 sq ft, so if you’re trying to scent up a McMansion, I’d suggest buy two or more of the warmer lamps, as needed). One thing I really like about this warmer lamp is the clickable on-off switch on the cord, about 12″ down from the base of the lamp. It makes it so much easier than constantly plugging a warmer in, and then having to unplug. Just a nice little detail there. I am able to handle the candles with my bare hands after they’ve been warming for a while. It’s warm, yes, but not scalding hot wax. This product is really nice and I’m pleased with the purchase. I took some pictures to share. UPDATE 2/2/13: In my original review I accidentally wrote 14.5″ instead of 14.5 ounces — it was an error on my part and I truly hope it didn’t cause anyone any inconvenience.

I love this product however the bulb burned out and it is going to cost me – to replace it because it says to use only the candlewarmers replacement bulb. I don’t want to replace it every month. 🙁
