On the third business day after ordering, the camera came in a small cardboard box, inside a clear plastic bag, with nothing else (no paper, even) -- except a little CD that had "DRIVER" written on it. 2. I threw away the CD (the camera's for a Mac Mini*). 3. I perched the camera securely on the top-middle of my old 23" Samsung flat panel TV that I use for a monitor. 4. I plugged into my computer ports the camera's standard USB Type A connector, and its standard 3.5 mm audio connector**. I thereby have a fully-functional web cam with sound. 7 simoleans well spent. *To be fair, the only reason that Apple products do not need drivers is because they also make the hardware, so of course the OS automatically controls all peripherals. This takes the fun out of everything. It's the same reason we don't need 3rd-party finessing and IT departments for other products, like radios, TVs or cars.
