Upon opening the box discovered it was VERY much smaller than expected – it looks much bigger on YouTube!. 3 things to mention: 1) instruction book is in "Chinlish" which one has to translate to regular English, but by playing with the unit for a while its easy to figure out. 2) Upon arrival the display was set for Chinese. Took a while to figure out how to get the Language menu (in Chinese) switched over to English. Once that was completed the rest of the menu(s) are easy to understand. 3) the 12 volt power cord died withing a few seconds of plugging into the car’s 12 volt outlet. Wrote back to Amazon for a replacement cord and they forwarded it to Generic (in China). Received a quick response asking for more info/pictures. But, by this time I had discovered there is a glass fuse installed in the unit which was burned out. Its accessed by un-screwing the tip of the adapter. Replaced 2 amp fuse and power cord had been working fine since. Did suggeste to Generic that they add this information in the instruction book. Car Cam and included software working great, excellent video considering the price. Am using a 32GB micro SD card.
