However, you have to open the unit to install a larger capacity memory card. Additionally, the motion detector doesn’t work well. There were many instances in which the unit did not begin recoding despite people walking in close proximity to it. I assumed this is the reason I was continually receiving "USB Device Not Recognized" when I attempted to connect to my PC. I called for support and was told to use an Exacto knife to cut away the plastic around the USB plug so that it could be bent more sharply to fit in the battery compartment. I was not impressed by this approach of cutting the materials in order to "force a fit". I gave it a shot and it worked three times. But since June 2014, it has never worked again, and always throws a "USB Device Not Recognized" error.
