Product Description

Enjoy healthy, home-cooked meals even with a busy schedule thanks to this easy-to-use round-shaped slow cooker. With its 1-1/2-quart capacity, the unit works great for cooking up small batches of soup, casseroles, warm dips, sauces, and more. Simply add ingredients to its stoneware crock, insert the crock into the cooker, and turn the temperature-control dial from off to keep warm, low, or high. Equipped with a tall, cool-touch knob, the slow cooker’s clear tempered-glass lid traps in heat and moisture and allows for checking on food at a glance. Even more, the removable crock doubles as a serving dish and can go straight from the table to the refrigerator to store leftovers with quick convenience. Integrated handles on the crock make it easy to lift and carry, even when wearing oven mitts, while stay-cool side handles on the cooker ensure safe, comfortable transport from home to picnics or potlucks and back again. The slow cooker measures approximately 8 by 8 by 9 inches, and the removable crock and glass lid clean up easily by hand or in the dishwasher.

This is a quality product, perfect for cooking for 1-3 people (smaller families, college students, etc.). I highly recommend it. It is so easy to use and fuss-free. Also, most smaller crock pots have only one setting, but this one has three (high, low, and keep warm). It has a nice glass lid and a removable ceramic crock, both of which you can clean in the dishwasher. I use mine at least a few times a week, and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

This little slow cooker has everything you need: removable crock, longer cord, three (*3*) heat settings, glass metal-rimmed lid, small footprint. As far as I can tell, it doesn't overheat, even on high. I just made a wonderful roast in it: about 1.5 lbs chuck roast (trimmed), 1 medium Walla Walla sweet onion, 2/3 can low-sodium beef broth, 2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce, and 1 Tbsp no-salt garlic/herb seasoning blend; brown the roast in a little oil, put in crock with other ingredients; cook on high for 4.5 hrs or on low for 8 hrs should do the trick; thicken the juice with a little cornstarch for gravy to serve over mashed potatoes --- HEAVEN!!!

It's the perfect size for 2-3 chicken breast halves, a small pork roast or a pork tenderloin or two, a nice small pot of soup, etc. You should get enough for a meal today plus leftovers for a couple of additional meals.

Clean up is a breeze with the removable crock, and the exterior of the unit cleans just fine with a damp cloth. The small footprint allows for out-of-the-way placement on the countertop for cooking, and easier storage.

I'm an older adult grad student, and this little cooker is going to get a lot of use this winter while I'm working on my thesis. Highly recommended!

1.5 quart slow cooker.

This product has extended my expectation of independent living. At coming 90 years of age,the simplicity of cooking and safety of never burning or boiling over, has removed a major problem of having to be aware every minute of stove or oven use
