I love the warm glow that they put off instead of a harsh light. When I opened the box, the bulbs were extremely well packaged and how they are packaged makes it high probable that you aren’t going to receive damaged bulbs. The one drawback, is that it took me quite some time to get the lights out of the packaging, you have to pull the cardboard away from the bulbs in order to use them. Not a huge deal, but it was a tad aggrevating (But I suppose necessary for safe shipping) The bulb is about the same size as an EOS lip blam (I’ve used it in the picture for size comparison). While at this time I’m not really living anywhere that I’d like to put these outside, when we do move, I’d love to place these either on a porch or a Gazebo type structure! They would really be beautiful. The strand is longer than I had imagined and the spacing of the bulbs is pretty far apart, but I guess that’s because the purpose of these are primarily for outside use and so I could see where this would be useful. My photos aren’t the best because I didn’t have the right setup to take wonderful pictures, but these really are a fantastic strand of lights and I could imagine using them for romantic type settings or a party for mood lighting. The strand is 25 ft long. Measuring from bulb to bulb, there’s about a 12″ spacing. There is a single broken light that I am responsible for breaking, but I am aware now that these lights are fragile. You may want to purchase replacements along with the string. I easily installed these lights along the lower edge of my covered patio (see my photo), but I can imagine them decorating the perimeter of a pergola or gazebo. They really add a party feeling to outdoor living, and they add just the right amount of light for a gathering at night. I enjoy these lights for an evening cookout, and I am happy to recommend them. Florescent light feels like the workplace. LED’s feel like a showroom. Soft white feels like grandma’s house. But some lights just feel fancy. Like the clear G40(C7) sting of lights from Brillante. Smaller than the regular fixture lights, larger than the mini lights you use for the holidays, these clear mini globes give enough light to illuminate beautifully without blinding everyone. With a sturdy, green 25ft. long cord, and 25 lights to a string, you can safely run two strings end to end, so it gives you plenty of length to surround your party, your patio, or spa. The soft ambient glow is that “just right” level of light to make everything bright, but not washed out. Only 5w per bulb means they won’t drain your pocketbook either! I’ve used these lights around the pool and spa, and on a clear cool night, nothing beats a meal under the stars with these Brillante lights. With bulbs rated for 3,000 hours, these are made to last. And G40 (C7) bulbs are affordable to really and easy to find. It even comes with a spare fuse should there be any issues.They came well packaged and protected, so not a single bulb was damaged or unlit upon arrival. I would recommend them highly.
